Simple and Solid Construction
A Compact tipping trailer ready for all
kinds of tasks always finds a use on a farm or work site but one does
not have to be apprehensive while working with it. That's why the
Joskin Trans-EX trailers prove their reliability coming from a long
experience of mass production made from adapted materials. A
perpetual search of simple solutions allows the user to work without any
fears.

Chasis |

The chassis of the Trans-EX trailers has a trapezoid shape
which combines simplicity and robustness. The strength
of this chassis is due to the beams which are cold formed
with high tensile steel.
On the Trans-EX tipping
trailers, you get a bolted and adjustable monobloc drawbar
which is reversible for low and high hitching.
  
The parking stand is a jockey wheel. The adjustment is
made thanks to a crank and while driving the wheel can be
folded back to the drawbar.

The rear electric lighting is integrated into a galvanized
box covering the whole width of the trailer and acting as a
rear bumper.
The chassis, which is more
cramped than the body, can receive a tool box
(1500x400x270mm) as proposed option. This tool box has
a cover detained by an articulated rod. |

Running Gear |
 The
running gear is reliable according to its simplicity.
Two robust adjustable axle supports main the axle at the
most suitable place as far as the mass balance is concerned.
These supports are adjustable accoridng to the height of the
wheels and coupling.
The Trans-EX trailers are equipped with the brakes in
accordance with the legal prescriptions: parking brake
and mechanical road brakes on 3 and 4 tons (hydraulic in
option) ad hydraulic on the 5 ton. The air brakes are also
an available option.
The standard wheels are
suitable for the polyvalence required for this type of
vehicle. Nevertheless, Joskin proposes you a large
range of tires to fall in with your everyday needs.
You can choose tires of a maximum width of 500 mm and
diameter between 760 and 1080 mm.
 
If you have to drive often
for long distances on the road, we can propose you the
famous Roll-Over Boggie with 11.5x15 10 PR tires. It
offers you an unmatched driving comfort. A clearance
of 24 cm(+/- 10") and a low pivoting points allows you to
get rid of the worst bumps.

A multi task trailer
has to have a changeable body and a suitable loading capacity; this
is the case with the Trans-Ex tipping trailers. As a matter of
fact, thanks to this polyvalent trailer, the user has a changeable
body at his disposal to allow him to load many kinds of goods.
This feature shows one more time the sturdiness and the
functionality of the Trans-EX tipping trailers.

 The
body of the Trans-EX is manufactured from high tensile
steel, the same as which is used in the manufacturing of
road transport vehicles. The steel is a guarantee of
strength, even while the weight is relatively low. The
bottom of the body is 3 mm thick and the sides 2.5 mm.
The surface of the Trans-EX
trailer's body floor is totally smooth, making it very easy
to load or unload sticky substances (manure, soil...)
or packages (pallets, big bags...). This floor is
built on a grid of beams to improve the sturdiness of the
trailer.
 The
rails are reinforced with cold formed folds. This
characteristic gives the Trans-EX's range a modern design.
Moreover, the angle of the folds in these rails, avoid that
some waste would stick in the corners. The sides of
the Trans-EX tipping trailer have a height of 40 cm whereas
the tailgate has a height of 60 cm. The last pivot on
two high hinges allows a fluid discharge thanks to the large
clearance of the tailgate.
The side tracks of the
Trans-EX trailers can be completely dismantled to get the
body floor without the container barriers.
Nevertheless, it is easy to put the side racks back in their
place thanks to lateral fast closing hooks.

Joskin offers you other useful options such as a two-part
door with a height of 80 cm.

A grain chute (285x280 mm) can also be installed with the
two types of door proposed on the Trans-EX range.
As
you can dismantle all side racks and extensions, it is easy
to install front and rear extensions for the transport of
hay or trusses of straw, etc...
Side extensions of 20 and
40 cm are also available, they have the same design as the
side racks: same strength, same flowing shape and same
clearance of materials thanks to closed steel sections.
It is possible to fold back or stack all extensions to reach
a maximum height of 1m60 (3 sets of extension). It
will considerably increase the loading capacity for light
materials (wood chips, barks,...). With 2 or 3
extensions the trailer must be equipped with two parts tail
door (option).

(laser cutting table, welding robots, numerically controlled
Lathe) allied to the resistance and the flexibility of the

Surface Treatment |
 A
quality finish of the Trans-EX trailers is due to the
manufacturating computerization process (CAD-CAM) and the
three step surface treatment (shot blasting + 1 coat of
primer Ester Epoxy + 1 coat fiishing laquer), the coats of
paint are applied to the trailer with an electrostatic
process. |
