The Joskin silage trailers are made up
with a set of vertical posts supporting lateral and rear
walls made of profiled sheets. The profiled concept
improves the inertia of the walls, i.e. their resistance to
the pressure applied by the silage matter. To prevent
any risk of corrosion, the walls benefit from a double
protection: they are galvanized on both sides and covered
with plasticized paint on the outside. The bottom of
the body is also entirely galvanized and it is supported by
a set of cross-pieces linking the vertical posts to each
other. |
 |
The hydraulic front leaf is standard
mounted on the whole Joskin Silo-Space range and it is
particularly useful behind the forage harvester, when
starting to work on the plot. The front wall is made
of punched steel sheet and guarantees a maximum visibility. |
 |
The
lateral door with quick-opening system turns out to be very
useful for maintenance and cleaning operations.
This equipment is standard mounted if
you have chosen the "shredding beaters" option. the
access ladder, which can be folded back, makes the inside of
the body easier to reach. |
 |
The inside box lighting (Swiveling and
well protected) is also part of the standard equipment of
our silage trailers. |

|
To
unload while limiting friction efforts, the rear and lateral
walls of our silage trailers are profiled in the unloading
direction of the silage matter (maize, grass...). With
this in mind, Joskin developed a conical body for its
Silo-Space silage trailers. Indeed, the back of the
body is 5cm wider than the front. |
 |
The
silage trailer is unloaded easily and without blocking
thanks to the consequent off-set (about 40 cm) of the rear
door above the body. The rear door is operated by 2
double acting cylinders. The rear door is also
equipment with a locking system that works with a spring.
Thanks to this system, the user is sure that the door is
closed correctly and prevents it from opening unexpectedly.
By means of an integrated control of the moving floor and
the rear door, a "stop" sensor sends an electrical signal,
thereby allowing the moving floor to start when the rear
door is completely open.In
option, it is still possible to design your silage trailer
in such a way as to allow the moving floor to be operated
during opening of the rear door. |
 |
In option,
rear working lights can be integrated into the chassis of
all Silo-Space silage trailers. They turn out to be
particularly useful to carry out the night works the
contractors are often confronted with during the silage
season. |
 |
The moving
floor of the Joskin Silo-Space silage trailers is made up
with 2 moving parts driven by 2 hydraulic motors (With
lateral box), which improves the sturdiness and the power of
the whole machine. The profiled slats fitting out
these two parts are alternately placed in order to guarantee
an even distribution of the load. |
 |
The yaw
chains offer a consequent resistance to traction (12 T). Two
sets of 4 wearing-off rails in ertalon are placed on both
sides of the body to prevent the moving floor and the body
bottom from scraping each other. |
  |
The
two hydraulic motors making the floor move are fitted with
two gears. The first gear allows to start the moving
floor and progressively increase its speed. Then, the
second gear stands for the quick and regular unloading of
the silage trailer. |
 |
The
system regulating the tension of the chains is protected by
a wide opening cover, which is fastened by two gas
cylinders. Holes are cut in this cover to allow the
user to quickly notice a lack of tension in one of the
chains. |
 |
The shredding beaters (in option only)
stand for an even distribution of the silage matter. |
 |
The
shredding beaters are driven by transmission chains and the
lower beater drives the upper one. |
 |
The mechanical angle transmission is
protected by 2 anti-torsion silent-blocks absorbing the
shocks turning up when starting to unload. |
 |
Once again, in order to stand for the
safety of the user and the protection of the equipment, an
electromagnetic sensor indicates that the upper shredding
beater is turning and allows the moving of the floor to be
started. If the lower beater does not turn, the upper
one will not be set in rotation, which explains the place
where the sensor is mounted. This safety device,
combined with the one on the rear door, prevents the silage
matters from being unloaded against a still closed door or
against the shredding beaters when they are not turning. |
 |
The various standard hydro-valves and
electro-valves (read door, gear of the moving floor and
inside box lighting) are operated by way of an easy-to-use
control panel. |
 |
Our silage trailers are fitted with a
bolted swivel eyelet. In option, this eyelet can
easily be replaced by a fixed or knee-joint eyelet.
The Joskin Silo-Space 20/40 and 22/45
models are equipped with a hydraulic jack with direct
connection (with hand pump in option).
The 24/45 model is fitted with a
hydraulic skid with direct connection (in option on the
20/40 and 22/45). |

 |
The
20/40 and 22/45 models are equipped with an adjustable
drawbar with cross springs.
The 24/45 model is fitted with a hydro-pneumatic suspension
of the drawbar (in option on 20/40 and 22/45).
Provided they are equipped with a
hydro-pneumatic suspension, the Joskin Silo-Space silage
trailers can be fitted, in option, with a load transfer
cylinder (3rd hydraulic point). This device allows you
to transfer some load on the tractor front wheel, which
considerably improves the safety of the cartage and the
driving comfort. |

 |
The Silo-Space 20/40 model is fitted
with the bolted and movable Joskin "roll-over" boggie.
Its "parabolic" blades offer an unfailing suspension while
ensuring the cartage stability.
Unlike the traditional boggies, which
have the tendency to bury their front wheels, the Joskin
"Roll Over" design has an upwards traction line. In
this way, the front wheels are literally pulled over the
obstacle. As a result: less traction power
needed, less ground compaction, less damage to the ground
and less wear to the tires. |
 |
The Silo-Space 22/45 and 24/45 models
are respectively fitted with the "Hydro-Tandem" and "Hydro-Tridem"
suspension system. The reactivity of the suspension
cylinders is extremely useful when facing consequent ground
unevenness. Moreover, their 255 mm axle travel stands
for an optimal distribution of the loads in all
circumstances. In option, the 20/40 model can also be
equipped with the "Hydro-Tandem" suspension.
For an optimal driving comfort, road
axles are available in option. |
 |
It is possible to fit out your
Hydro-Tandem or Hydro-Tridem vehicle with an automatic
height adjustment system of the hydraulic suspension. |

 |
The
Silo-Space 20/40 model is equipped with a rear free steering
axle but it is also possible to replace it by a self
steering axle (option). The Silo-Space 22/45 and 24/45
models are respectively fitted with one or two rear self
steering axles.The steering
cylinder is controlled by a sensor cylinder that is clamped
to the drawbar by means of a knee-joint. The system is
balanced thanks to the compensated jacks, which exert a
similar force in both directions. The circuit is
fitted with a monoshell control unit, consisting of one
manometer, two nitrogen accumulators, one balancing valve
and one calibration system. |
 |
The
mechanically driven axle can help you to deal with the most
difficult situations, in the field or in pastures. It
also allows you to reach easily the top of the highest and
the most sloping grass or maize silos. |
 |
The
20/40 and 22/45 models are fitted with hydraulic brakes and
the 24/45 model with air brakes (in option on the 20/40 and
22/45). In option, the whole Joskin Silo-Space range
can be fitted with a combined braking system, (hydraulic and
pneumatic).Finally, a vehicle
with air brakes can also be completed by a braking system in
proportion to the load. |

The cargo TSM and TRM multi-modules

as your future slurry tank, monocoque tipping box or
